The Designer

Strength lies in God who provides. Marcellius Sample is a Southern California native, born and raised in Los Angeles County. From an early age, he has always been creative. He began by playing with legos and drawing when he was 3. Legos and drawing later culminated in his passion for architecture, making Lego cities, elaborate command centers and getting good at making stick forts. later on, he also took a liking to video games and sports between 5 and 10. These interests would heavily influence his work ethic, creativity and competitive nature to never give up. Now at John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills California, his talents allowed him to excel in high school, winning multiple awards in both academics and sports. He won Various Architecture competitions and received rewards for his gifts. Mr. Sample then went on to the college of his dreams, Howard University in Washington DC, and learned the craft of architecture. There is where he learned his passion for graphic design was just as strong as his love for architecture. As a sophomore, he also rededicated his life to his Lord Jesus & Savior Christ. After graduating college with a 1st professional bachelor's degree (master's equivalent in the field), he worked as a junior architect for 2 years. Richard Sample, his father passed away from a rare lung disease and sent Marcellius down a dark path to depression. It was here where he grabbed onto the strength of God that was within him and after about a year and a half, he was delivered from his depression. From his newfound life, he found his wife and started a family along with his business... DuG in 2012. Fast forward, he remains with his wife and has 3 beautiful and creative Kids. He knows that God is the reason for who is and what he has and that's why he has dedicated his life, family and career to him.
